For this week's Casual Friday, we thought we'd show off our 2012 Christmas ornaments. (We try to pick ornaments each year that either show something that we accomplished or grew to love, but sometimes we also just pick ornaments to be silly.)
If you saw Ish maneuvering around this summer, fixators and all, you know about these bright green Crocs. He tried to talk us into letting him wear them just this morning, when the temperatures were hovering around 30 degrees. His big toe fits in his ornament - he's already checked.
Toby discovered the wonder of Monster Trucks this year. He has a big one (called Daddy) and a little one (called Son) that have regular adventures together. And now he has an ornament one. We should have taken a picture of Toby's face when he opened this one up. JOY.
Eli entered the world of Fantasy Football this year and has been enjoying talking trades and stats with many. Knowing him and his genealogy, I'd say that this is the start of a lifelong passion.
And for the parents, well, this coffee pot sums it up. 2012. The longest year of our lives, made possible by coffee and the Miracle Worker.
i LOVE your ornaments!!! my mom did this for us growing up, a special ornament every year, and its so much fun now to look back at them all.
