We started off our Labor Day fun with our friends Rob, Heather, Daniel, and Isaac coming for our second annual weekend together. So glad that Heather made sure we got a photo of the five kiddos on the couch to compare to last year!

It was a rockin' weekend.
We loved it. The boys are happy buddies, and we parents had a good time, too.
Then on Monday, we headed to Pop and MumMum's for the traditional Labor Day family get-together, or as Eli refers to it, the day that Uncle Scott makes really good ribs.
And while this Labor Day event thankfully did not involve any cannonballs, it did involve weaponry in the form of target shooting. The indiansandpirates boys donned their ear protection and lasted for about 2 shots before retreating inside the house to play.
We are grateful for employment, grateful for traditions, grateful for family and friends!
