Computer time is minimal these days, but for good reason. We have become a bit more intentional with our time; if there is a peaceful moment, instead of looking to see what we can get accomplished, we are looking to see which kiddo could use a bit more one-on-one time, because last week affected all of us.
In five weeks, these casts will (likely) be distant memories, but hopefully this purposeful, intentional living is here to stay. It might mean that emails take even longer to respond to, that the garden looks confused about whether it is working to grow flowers or weeds, that bedtime gets pushed back a half an hour - but we're learning to say yes to the best. (And yes to sleep - we're tired. :) )

We have seen the smile again from the Ishman.
We have watched Toby the Puzzle Master complete a bazillion puzzles.
We have seen Eli the Sports Nut reenact every single play from his printed Celtics games.
There have been frustrations and battles of the wills, but there have also been games of Chinese Checkers and sit-to-bat baseball. There have been exhausting nights of managing medicines, but there have also been significant moments proving that we have turned the corner in pain management. There have been moments of feeling overwhelmed at what has been left undone, but there have also been longer moments of knowing we are doing exactly what should be done.
We're one week down, and looking forward to the weeks ahead.
Love you guys! Woo hoo only 5 more weeks! ~Amy P
