This morning, I was sleeping peacefully (!) when I heard running down the hall. Must have asked for the 5:55am wake-up call... Seriously, though - there is no alarm more effective than sounds of a 16-month-old exploring the house alone. Next item on the shopping list: a baby gate just for Ish's bedroom door. :)
Thanks for everyone's love, concern, and prayers! We won't speak of Thursday night, but last night was good. Eli just came in to join Ish and me and said, "How much sleep did you get last night?" "7 hours." "Oh! Seven hours is good. Eight hours would be good for your brain, but seven hours is still good." Ish is sitting here munching on Kix and laughing about the shadow he is casting. Looks like a happy day.
