Family Day

December 3rd:

A whirlwind of firsts and celebrations

All dressed up for a big day: Ish's first sport coat

Ish's first day with our family's last name, Mommy's first day to take the stand in court, and Toby's first (and hopefully last!) time to have a judge speculate about whether or not he should be held in contempt of court.

Celebrating the blessing of having Ishmael join our family - surrounded by many who have been integral to the journey, and with an indiansandpirates fave, Thai/Cambodian food!

Up close and personal - Ish's first taste of cake (applesauce cake without icing, though, so that he can still have another first on his first birthday)

Before and after of Ish's first haircut - the pile of hair on the floor was tremendous, and evidently heart-breaking. Eli literally tried to collect it all. He and Mommy both were struggling with seeing our baby without his trademark pile of curls, though we all admit that he looks great with his new, evened-out style.
